I had the pleasure of collaborating with Monica, and I can't wait to share her story with you. So, let's jump right in!

Can you share a fun fact about yourself?
I am a European explorer (I lived in different European countries), but during my last move to Switzerland, I couldn't leave behind my precious library, so I donated half, sold a few, and brought my favourite books with me here. All by plane, to be honest.
Books are part of who I am, who I was, and who I am becoming so they bring me a "home sweet home" feeling every time I look at them as I start my day.
Can you tell us about yourself and how you got started in your job or business?
I started my career in Romania in the year 2000 as a librarian when there weren't so many work opportunities, but soon I was feeling stuck in a permanent job in which I was expected to stay forever. But forever is too long for me...So, after an internship in Luxembourg, I got an unexpected opportunity to work in Brussels in project management. As we don't have the same career expectations in our 20s, 30s, and now 40s, I continuously evolved to get where I am now: a creative individual who is constantly learning and who thrives on collaboration, inspiration, and meaningful interactions.
How does your work make a positive impact on others?
Let's ask the others first! I am a very dedicated professional and I always put people first. I care for my colleagues and teams. I hate micro-managing; I give space to others to shine and I am always trying to find solutions and support others to achieve their goals. I like training, coaching, and mentoring as part of my learning and development toolbox and I take responsibility for creating a lovely atmosphere at work.
What resource or discussion do you like most in the Conscious Marketing Movement?
I like the “Spark Conversations” section because I love to exchange and learn from and with others. The Follow the Lessons section gives me access to the resources I need now and the possibility to rewatch certain lessons and ask my questions directly. The beauty of it is that I am receiving answers and practical advice while following them.
What motivated you to become a part of the Conscious Marketing Movement?
Being bombarded daily by so many unethical practices and working in digital marketing and community building, I was looking for a community to learn with and, also, challenge what I have learned so far. Acting as a collective to do good and change the marketing status quo is stronger and more effective than doing this by ourselves.
